I used to climb communication towers when I was younger. The tallest tower I free climbed was 1049 ft. Free climbing is when you don’t have lanyards attached to the tower during the climb. All of that has changed now. OSHA requires a lanyard be connected at all times. They now have two lanyards on their safety harness.
