For someone who never had any dogs, which dog breed is the best to start with?

Hi, just curious about what everyone would think about it.
Giving you me as an example : I love big dogs mostly... problem for now I don't live in a house but I wish to move from where I am when I'll be in a better situation. I'm not a sportive guy as well.

I'm mostly a cat owner since years ago so yeah I'm a newbie with dogs.

Maybe if you do find a suitable premises, big house and yard, and want to choose a dog that will be suitable for you, well, I can happily reply here when the time is right.
