Crime is relative to a lot of things, education, guns, politicians but I think coulture is one of the most important things, for example, Brazilian are proudly about "jeitinho Brasileiro" you always have a way to do something, even if it is ilegal or if you fuck someone like a friend or neighbor to do it.
Here we are proud about honestly, but we are losing it gradative, and it is so dangerous to our future like a society

Maybe, even with this, we are much better than many countries around us, in my opinion here we are talking about different cultures, you can't say witch one is better without know about the history of this places, from where come this people, how was their past, for example, most of our population are Europeans that come here during the first and second world war, this people come with so much problems and dificultad, and they should defend their life's with guns, maybe because of this, we maintain our gun culture

Yes, police forces maybe can work in cities, but here we have many isolates places, where the police can spent more than 1 hr to come, in the some way, I fortunately never needed to use, I competed in shooting sports around Brazil and Uruguay.
