It's probably weird but I don't like the term zoophilia. I use zoo more often because to me it's not the same as any other term that ends in "phillia".

Damn bibliophiles ruining it for the rest of us.

I'm more ok with zoosexual as long as folks don't interpret it as just meaning a sexual thing. Which most on the outside looking in do. I don't really care what they think though.

It's just a name to me. If I could fault it for anything, it's rather clinical, and so comes across as being pedantic and officious. I mean, if a gay person insisted on saying "homosexual" every time, I'd accuse them of eating dictionary.
