Nice. I usually see the Australian magpie, pied currawong, kookaburra, tawny frogmouth and if I'm really lucky, a peregrine falcon or two.

Cool, I recognize the kookaburra and the Australian magpie of course. Falcons are cool too, rare around here too but I also have falcons around. Don't recognize the other two.

The currawong is related to the magpie. It's can't sing and isn't as pretty, but just as smart and fun to watch. The tawny frogmouth is what happened when an owl saw a snake unhinge it's jaw and said, "That's the way it's done".
