Does you Dog's behavior changes after he is physical with you ?

for me, i think rhe dog must know that you are the leader and respect you before you can attemp sex. It's a must to make him learn there is moment and place to make this (a dog can understant that). RESPECT him too if he doesn't want sex (you will know) control your pulsions and finish you alone. The dog will never change it's mind of you, for him sex it's like a game and you makes the rules. You take peasure both and he understant that. Hope it's help, it's my way to see things.

I don’t think being a leader or respect has anything to do with sex. If that were the case, dogs wouldn’t do anything sexual with anyone but their owners. Sex is a natural drive for the dog, same as food drive and prey drive. It can be high or low or extreme. Normally dogs don’t have sex recreationally and that drive is only satisfied through breeding, but we teach them that recreational sex is a thing tney can engage in and ask for. It’s a 50/50 thing. It’s not a leader/follower or sub/dom dynamic. It’s more of a partnership. And respect isn’t a factor. I’ve had plenty of sexual experiences with lots of different dogs. My own dogs, friends dogs, dogs that knew me, dogs I just met that day. With varying relationships. There have been a dogs that I’ve done protection work with that essentially see me as a prey object to dominate that loved having sex with me. There have also been dogs that I only met that day that happily had sex with me.

we don't have the same way to see thing but, i love my dog and he know it. If you don't fuck for reproduction it's for fun... i don't know for you but for me a dog need a leader if ill be 50/50 with my dog he probably take a lot of really bad decisions liike try to be the leader at my place. He ask for sex and mee too but never in front of other people. I'm not a monster just a leader of a big dog, when we take a walk with his leach he walk the nose at my knee, if he is losse he check at me to keep an eye contact. I can let him alone in the house for 12 hours or let him at dog boarding for 1 week without separation anxiety or stupid question about it's comportment. We are in perfect harmony... have a good day it's fun to talk about it :gsd_wink:

I've never really noticed any difference between any of the 4 experiences I've had, so I can't really relate these.

if it changes has it ever led to friends questioning anything about it or did they just think you have a weird dog/horse/goat whatever.
just kinda curious honestly
