I’d do exactly what I did with Angel.
I’d ask her what kind of sex work she was considering, what research she’d done about working conditions, safety and privacy considerations, managing potential health risks, fair pay rates, how to manage savings and tax affairs, and her ability to set and maintain her own limits when it came to what services she was willing to offer.
Most importantly, I’d ask what she was planning to do AFTER sex work, so when the appeal wears off and the dull reality of it sets in after a couple of years, she’s spent that time wisely, studying or earning towards a more long-term career for herself.
And when she was able to answer those questions, and articulate why sex work was the right choice for her now, how she’d keep safe, and how it would help her achieve her long term goals?
Damn right I’d tell her I was proud of her.

And I get it, We’re fortunate to live in a place where sex work is legal, (relatively) safe and well regulated. I know that’s not the case everywhere.
I’m not saying it’s the right choice for everyone, or even very many girls - like zoo, a lot of people just aren’t wired for it.
But shaming a young person for their choices is a sure fire way to make sure they make poor ones.)

My father loves to brag about his wife who is as old as my eldest sibling. It is so hard to hold my tongue when he speaks on this. One of my most meaningful human relationships was with someone about 10 years older than my father. As long as prostitutes pay taxes, I have nothing against them, even I will never become one.
But from what you write, I am left with the impression that you are forced to do it because of a lack of prospects and a desperate need for money to live on, not because you consider the profession of prostitute to be your vocation.

For everything else you say I'm willing to agree with you, I feel you but as long as I pay taxes and you don't, we'll have agree to disagree. I am an immigrant myself, I moved from Russia to the United Kingdom and I deal on my own with my life. I work, I earn money, I pay taxes, so if one day if it becomes necessary, I will be able to use social benefits and all the support from the government.
What else can I tell you, except Get well soon and arrange your life the way you want.

I never said it was the same thing. The point I was making here is that my partner made these decisions carefully and considerately despite her youth. I want nothing but the best for her, I feel a deep obligation of care for her wellbeing, I respect and support her decision making, and I am proud of her.

So my answer stands. Judge our relationship if you wish; but if ever I am lucky enough to have a daughter, If she was to make this same choice as carefully and with as much forethought as Angel has, then, yes I would be very proud of my daughter.

My Child’s choice of job wouldn’t lessen the love I would have for her despite any pangs of paternal concern I might feel. Unless she maybe decided to become a landlord or stockbroker. Then I’d really feel like I failed her as a parent.

I am not aroused by my partner being a sex worker in the slightest. Nor am I jealous or controlling about how she chooses to use her body to make an income.

It might be different elsewhere but here brothel work is legal and regulated. there are no pimps, she can refuse any client she doesn’t want to see.
Nobody cums inside Angel at work, ever. Condoms are mandatory for all sex services including oral, and workers must provide proof of STI testing every 3 months. (Brothel workers here record lower rates of STI’s than the general population precisely because they are so diligent about protection)
In the rare event a client attempts to slip off a condom he is blacklisted from the premises and can even be prosecuted for assault.
