Does anyone else have weird habits?

Answer: Weird habits of mine include...

1) Shouting "Oy!" when something surprises me.
3) Posting things out of order.
2) When I get super pissed off at something beyond my control, I feel the need to punch a wall or a solid object, which releases some of the stress.
IV) I'm not always consistent.
5) Feeling like numbered lists are used by the weak minded.
6) I often repeat myself over and over again.
7) Shouting "Oy!" when something surprises me.

But that's about it! Lol

Actually Punching a wall increases heart attack chances as well as your wallet pain.

I think everyone has weird habits. They are just different for each.
I narrate what I am doing in my life sometimes and especially if I am talking to someone on the phone.

Instead of ducking through a door, sometimes i just let the frame hit me in the face. Idk what about it makes me satisfied, but I guess that’s a weird habit of mine.

...I have a...weird/bad habit when I'm typing to someone...I've...you know...been doing better...really...
Can you...tell what it is....?
(Okay...that's an exaggeration...but a real habit to break...)

I have a weird habit of talking to others the same way I would imagine others speaking to me, thinking that people would understand "nerd-ese"...

When i type i always put my intent 1st. Like this... question: (insert topic here) i do this without realizing i do it.
It's not that weird. I actually trained people to do exactly that in the past. Transmission quality in analogue radio communication is not always great and subtleties like a raised voice at the end of a sentence to indicate a question can be easily missed. Literally announcing a question beforehand can save time and prevent misunderstandings. I think this can have value in written communication where efficiency is paramount, too.

I don't know how uncommon that is, but I dry potato peels and those of fruits before I throw them away.

What purpose does that serve?
They do not mold in the trash bin then. I don't have much trash, so the bin is only rarely emptied.

I suppose I could reduce my trash even more, if I would compost peels in the garden, but I am a bit paranoid about attracting mice and rats by adding food remains to the compost heap.

When I argue with my parents, I sometimes change languages without realizing. I go from English to Shanghainese, back to English and then broken Mandarin. A bit like Jiang Zemin lol

I freeze things that I don't want to get stinky or attract insects in the trash, since I only have to empty the trash every few weeks. Meat packaging, trimmings, bones, fruit rinds, even empty sour cream containers and such.

Another weird habit i have i dont look at myself in the mirror and IF i have too ill focus on the selected feature.

i add lots of "...." in many of my posts, not sure why... for real life weird habits, when i'm finished pooping and wiping i always get up and pee. the urge to pee always comes after number two and i can't do it while sitting down

when people are speaking to me, i say the words in my head backwards, just to see if any of them sound funny, sometimes i say particularly good one out loud, which makes people think i am strange. I could talk fluently with someone else who can speak sdrawkcab.

I picked up a really bad habit recently where I keep accidentally using "to" and "too" incorrectly. Mainly becuase I keep trying to make sure I use the correct version and I seem to default to "too" instead of the other way around.

Whenever I buy food over the counter and the employee says, "Thank you and enjoy your meal."
I'll sometimes automatically respond with, "Yeah, you too."

I won't realise what I just said until after I begin to walk away.

Trying to end a phone call in a polite way with people, but mainly strangers from call centres,
Like "okay...thank you...cheers...have a good day....okay...you too...bye...bye...bye...bye....bye....bye....bye....bye" until your both just whispering to each other and it's a competition of who can stay on the longest.
