does anybody here think this is funny

Anywho, the whole thing just fell flat for me. I see what you’re saying, but I personally don’t believe Nikki Glaser is doing anything revolutionary or positive for us really.

No, she was not the best. But if there is one thing I know about comedians, it is this, once one of them starts getting laughs off of a particular approach then a dozen other comedians begin to copy them. Pretty soon, bestiality will be a goto source of comedic material. When Richard Prior showed up, a dozen black comedians copied his act. When Jerry Seinfeld showed up, a dozen other comedians copied his act. Ellen Degeneres started her career as a second-rate Seinfeld copy-cat. When George Carlin showed up, a dozen other jaded atheists showed up doing the same bit. Nikki just lit a fire. ;) Someone else is going to add the kerosene and set the blaze.

I can’t really say the same for Nikki over here. The first couple of lines had me interested. They were clever, they made me grin a bit, and it was a smooth transition into the punchline. If she’d stopped after “Do it Luigi!” I would have loved it. Short, sweet, and to the point. But then she kept pressing it and pressing it until the joke had worn thin and it no longer felt like a joke. Even she could see the audience progressively got more uncomfortable. When I think of trying to leave people with a more positive impression of bestiality and zoophilia, that’s definetly not what comes to mind.

Thats a damned good summation of what I got out of it - The first half minute, maybe a minute worth was OK, and dragged a couple chuckles out fo me. Then it steadily got more and more cringey until I finally had to bail out around the 3 minute mark. It was kinda like an example I've used before: The drunk at the party who's had way too much - For a while, he's amusing, but when he starts falling down on the living room rug, pissing himself and puking down the front of his shirt, the amusement value gets overwhelmed by the whole "This guy doesn't even have a clue how pathetic (and not in a "I wanna try to help" way - more like "Gawd, why am I still here?") he's being" vibe.

You put that way better than I did. I agree completely. Had she stopped right where you suggested I think it would have been very good, but she drug it out to the extent that it felt as though she was looking for the audience to accept bestiality and that just got them thinking too to hard about the realism of what she was saying.

It is kind of like the redneck that I met in the store today. I was buying materials to make a better shelter for my donkey. There was red neck there checking out the materials and made some comment about that is not much material to build a house with, so I told him it was for a shelter for a donkey. He told a little story about being at a friend's house and there was a donkey there with a hard on and his wife and teenage daughters were in the car and could not stop talking about that donkey's hard on and the size of his cock. My buddy made a quick and short joking comment to the guy that he better not take them to the Tijuana donkey show. Both sides of the conversation were short and sweet with a short joke and everyone laughed. Had my buddy (a zoo) pushed forward any more with the joke, the red neck (we live in a bible area) would have gone from "ha, ha, that's funny" to "WTF! Are this sick fucks really serious about that kinda stuff"

Short and sweet you lighten the mood and cause a good laugh. Draw it out and you get people thinking to hard that there really are people the fuck animals out there. "Johnny, get the pitch forks and start building a pier"

I didn't laugh. I was mildly entertained only by the delivery, not the content, and it was a little too long.
And PLEASE...her dog gets that good stuff any time he wants it. Good for her! Good for him!

Seemed funny to me. Kinda surprised she would be so graphic, but probably just a comedy skit or she would have described how with each orgasm the dogs toung goes in deeper and deeper. Sex always sells. Reminded me of the movie "Sleeping Dog". I sure many in the audience experienced it. Need some truth meter.
