EVERYONE has at least one thing they can do better than anyone else. Their specialty.
It might be sexual, or maybe not. Maybe it involves your occupation or something you do for leisure.

I'm told I'm a good listener. I think its because im fascinated by people and opinions and am genuinely interested in what they have to say.

That may be one of the finest social and interpersonal attributes one can have. It makes people feel very good when you treat them like the most important person in the room, regardless of their station in life.
 
I'm told I'm a very good caretaker. Learned it from experience when my mom became chronically ill a while back. I tend to think of the small stuff others would overlook. Like turning the cup handle when I brought her water so that it was easier to reach. Opening all her bottles for her before I give them to her because the arthritis makes it difficult.
The hard part is getting me to care about you enough to be like that lol

The ability to make people feel comfortable is huge!
In my teens, I had the opportunity to spend a summer learning how to sail, then a few more summers after that. Loved it! I loved getting on a Hobie Cat in a good wind, trimming it just right and making that thing fly! I sure hope to go again, someday. Thanks for your comment!
 
There’s an acronym STAR. Stop, Think, Act, Review. At work we joke that STAR stands for “Shit, That Ain’t Right.”

I’m the “shit, that ain’t right” guy at work. My specialty is walking into a situation and having my spider sense go off. I’ll know something doesn’t look, smell, feel, or sound right even if I have no idea what “right” is. Then I call my betters and they figure it out lol.

But I’m the best at finding shit that ain’t right.

My most recent ex told me that I can purr just like a cat. It happens when I have a throat infection and I do a really deep, low moan.
 
Mmm off hand? Let’s see. Considering most people don’t take classes to treat wounds more so of the ballistic types I’d tick that one.
I pack incredibly well. If you have 10lbs of shit, I can fit it in a 5lbs bag. I can braid rope pretty well too.
It’s handy for bow strings as well. And to keep it sort, knife sharpening is another one. I know way too many people with a block of dull steel and no idea how to slick it up.
 
What if you're a jack of all trades, but a master of none?

I'm above average at plenty of things, but hardly close to a master at any. I dunno, maybe quick math is one of my strongest suits, or the ability to recall a ton of random information about anything, I have a pretty good sponge of a brain for new info.
 
I don't consider myself conceited enough to think I have a skill that I am better at than the other 7.5 billion people on the planet! :love:

Your talents are many...important ones, too! A lot of people don't even realize they can take excellent classes in first aid, and gain the knowledge to keep someone alive in a field or urban situation (unless it's imminently fatal) until an ambulance arrives. A LOT of lives could be saved if more people knew more than just dialing 911.
