For the longest time I thought all MLP characters were supposed to be like school aged children due to the art style. Then I learned that most of them are actually supposed to be adults and I was like "Whaaaaat??"

Sorry for that, I think the pictures you posted were all either adult or too comically to even "see" an age on them.
As such absolutely fine.

You can be sure that such feats are not drawn in underage pictures of a MLP character, as such you're on the safe side.

That's comparable with Pokemon and individual drawing styles.

As example: Fennekin -> Braixen -> Delphox. Fennekin is a very young fox cub basically. While the evolution ones are young and older adult (and quite sexy, tho). ?‍ Still artists are able to draw them "too young" or even "quite old looking" adult ones.

Ah, yep - the foals look "drawn younger", eyes, shorter hairs, but directly visible on the body-to-head size proportions.
That's basically 1:1 versus 1:2,5 or comparable.
