Indeed, it definitely has it's differences though. ZF always felt a little more close-knit, probably because a lot of the trash people just stuck with BF. I definitely do miss ZF.

I honestly didn't see it coming, but I wasn't a trusted member on there or anything, in fact, I was pretty much a nobody on ZF. I accrued maybe 180 posts my entire time there. There might have been a banner put up when it was about to go offline, but to me it felt like it was there one day, and just disappeared the next.

Tends to happen on forums with open registration. I think I was only on ZF for less than a year and didn't make a giant impact. We try to curb the worst of the worst here, but often it's... as one member here put it... like herding cats.
