Not that kinky after all. Humans eat quite a lot of food alive for not having a necessity to do so.

Imagine eating fresh fruits of your non-pesticide private fruit tree, there are around 30-50% chance to eat some alive maggots with it. Doesn't really disturb most people which do garden works. ?‍♂️

In this case it's "scared for (the remaining short) life!" ginger bread. You won't believe me how horrified it was as I bit off a big chunk of it's dark chocolate coated body. Heavenly. Chewing on those freshly sugared lemon shell pieces while looking in that horrified face of the ginger bread was like this:

Still I don't like generating unnecessary torture, so the chewing was quick and the swallowing tasty. ?‍♂️

.. Good day/night to you Yancha
Ah, and thank you, my good foxxo! ? I just woke up.

Your going to ruin my apple tree talking like that yancha lol.
Enjoy your time awake!
:husky_wink: Nah, apples are fine. No matter if a maggot or two exist - and thanks to the development of "knife" they're not hard to remove. :ROFLMAO:

I have some fruit trees, one of them is a plum tree. Those are really infested through some flies which can't puncture the shells of apples, but do so on the plums. I tend to use them for cakes or boiled down storage fruits, as it's easier than to dissect each plum to remove little larvae. ?‍♂️ All natural harvesting, as such this is not preventable.

Either one uses masses of chemicals to prevent even the slightest natural insect.. or one learns to live with them.

Thanks for the friendly wishes - just finished the ginger breads and now sorting bureaucracy. It's 4 AM over here, as such not much to do actually.

I wish you an enjoyable time as well! (y)
