Well, due to all the old double posts, and posts that went missing from users that have gotten spammed banned (all posts deleted) for awhile we decided we were either 220 or 240 posts behind the post count number in the upper right corner of the post itself. (I can't remember which) Sometime after you left Mare was like "This whole trailing behind the post count number thing is too complicated! Let's just match the post number for simplicity's sake." and everyone was like "Alright, works for me." So, now the number matches the post count number in the upper right corner which helps keep us on track a little easier. Even if someone posts the wrong number it's usually fairly quickly noticed and corrected now.
