Hmm... I'm kind of questioning the accuracy of this in ear thermometer I purchased. It says my Newfie girl is at 100.2 degrees F, which seems a little on the low side. While it's saying that I'm 99.5 degrees F, which seems a little on the high side. ?

I'd say it's probably the thermometer unfortunately, I've not been impressed with the accuracy of any of them lately.

When I get some time I might have to go through the manual. While I didn't see it mentioned on the Amazon page for this particular one, a lot of the other in ear thermometers mentioned needing to be calibrated before using it. Otherwise I wasted $24.
