Yeah, that would be my first guess too if it weren't for the fact that it's winter here and all the mosquitoes have returned back to hell where the belong! Lol

Ya know, I'm not even sure what exactly happens to mosquitoes during winter. I'd have to Google that one... I'd guess that their eggs can endure being frozen, and they just sit there dormant until the spring. But that's just a shot in the dark.

Turns out it's not. Once it gets below 50 degrees F many of them die off, however younger healthier mosquitoes actually burrow and hibernate.
