It's actually pretty easy, you could also look up a video on YouTube as well. Normally it's as simple as unscrew the metal clamps with a philips screwdriver, remove the duct, vacuum the shit out of the duct and where the duct clamps onto the dryer. Connect/screw everything back in. The majority of dryer malfunctions and fires are caused by neglecting to clean out the lint in the dryer itself and the duct. While the lint trap catches the majority of lint, it doesn't catch it all, and not all of it will get blown out of the house/building.I don't mess with it... I'm pretty bad at fixing things lol
