Aww man. It looks like my old multimeter kicked the bucket. It's stuck at 1 no matter what setting it's on. It's not overloaded because it literally has no load on it. I tried to tune the adjustment screw and the whole mechanism broke apart. The fuse doesn't blown or anything. I bought it used at a yard sale like 10 years ago. I think it's unfortunately toast. I was going to verify that my alternator was healthy. :/

I still need to replace mine. Figured this next time I'd buy a really good one...
I primarily use mine to just test household batteries, but it does come in handy for other things too. The one I had was likely the cheapest one you could find 10-15 years ago. Hell, it didn't even have a brand name on it (assuming someone didn't peel it off.) I bought it at a yard sale for like $12 or something. I'd say that I got my money's worth out of it.
