I like blinds myself. But, unfortunately they don't last very long with the dogs around. All my windows (minus two) used to have blinds, but I'm down to half of my windows left with blinds. The rest have been switched to curtains. Luckily the windows left with blinds are out of reach minus the big bay windows in my living room. They're... hanging in there... literally. Only two of the slats are a little broken.
