hm. i just figured out that, if a picture is copied and pasted from another site to zooville, if the picture is deleted on its original site, then it ceases to appear on zooville as well. i guess zooville does not actually create a copy of the image for its servers, but instead references somewhere else. so somebody looking to make zooville a media archive to save stuff from deletion would find themselves in trouble

Indeed, I figured that out when some of the smut I posted in the "Female Feral Dogs" furry thread a couple of years ago up and disappeared without notice.
