It's due to the cookie clicker game. Usually you'll get 1 or 2 (and rarely 3) x777 clicking power for 60 seconds per ascension. An ascension usually last about 2-3 weeks of consistent playing. If you hit a x777 golden cookie with a x7 cookie production, you can easily triple you total cookies accrued though the entire ascension. Basically you can get 8-10 days worth of cookies in a matter of a couple of minutes. Man does my brain send a waive of dopamine when I manage to hit it!
