They made it unavailable in my country. But thanks to the magic of VPNs, I was able to switch over to an Australian VPN server and view it. Meh... not my taste in music.

Huh, weird. I was on an American VPN server and it didn't work. But as soon as I switched to an Australian server it worked. Weird that it wouldn't work for you?

Yeah... I actually realized that after I had posted my last number and reread the posts. From what you've posted in the past, I figured you were a rock boi like myself. Although, a do like a little bit of everything when it comes to music. Modern pop though... maybe 1 or 2 songs. But most of it just sounds too... hmm... what's a good word to describe it........... bleh?

I feel much the same way, Pop songs tend to be annoyingly catchy though. Eurovision entries doubly so.

To me, most of it sounds like music without soul. No thought was put into it, no meaning, no creative talent. Pop songs are pumped out one after another to meet corporate manufactured tastes and deadlines. It's no longer about the music, it's about the look of the "artist." I don't even mind that most of it is created with a computer, there's plenty of good music created with one. But when you can put 5 random pop songs created within the last 7 years, one after another, and it sounds like one continuous song, it mocks what music has the potential to be. I just wish people would stop gobbling this crap up. But perhaps you and I are a dying breed when it comes to music lovers.
