I thought Christianity was about love, not hate.
You'd think? But the basic fundamentals of Christianity is love Jesus/God, while you're nothing more than a sinner that must beg for forgiveness form God for being a sinner. In the end, for me, all this mindset did was make me hate myself for being a "sinner." I felt like I needed a higher power to forgive me for my sins, when in reality my "sins" was mostly human nature. Seeing that my sins were mostly human nature, I kept on sinning. I felt as though I was failing in the eyes of God.

Jesus stated that he was not brought on this planet to replace the scriptures (aka the old testament) so the very fact that you're on this website means your soul is damned.

Nobody is perfect, but I don't need an all-seeing God to apologize for being essentially human. But in general, I just don't see any tangible evidence that one exists in the first place.

God and Jesus don't make much sense to me, but I like the message that none of us is perfect and that we should try to be kind to each other instead of quarrelling.
And that's just it. The story of Jesus contains a lot of wisdom that confronts the established powers of the day. He called out the hypocrites like no other. I don't think he was divine but I think there's a lot of value in the "words in red." But Christianity the religion is fucked full of people inserting their own politics into it, with the end goal of controlling people and staying in power.
