I've only got extremely limited interaction with male cats. The problem with them is keeping an intact tom is the urine will absolutely reek. Jerk off a male cat and your hand smells like tomcat. My cat had a sister who... yeah, she had an aversion to the box at first. She was the one that made the place smell. She also peed on my ex's dresser. I was proud of her for that... I hated my ex.
