Can animals consent?

I have never had to train a dog to have sex with me. it's a natural behaviour that they initiate and I sometimes allow. I think if zoophilia was just women receiving male animals society might react to it with somewhat less revulsion.

Edit to add: I have horses and access to stallions and even though I have horsey fantasies one of the reasons I've never acted on them is because, unlike dogs, horses show zero interest in me.

It depends in on the society. Some appear to somewhat tolerate young men getting their rocks off with a mare or cow and yet are horrified with any kind of premarital or extramarital intercourse of women.

It's true that non-human animals can't consent in the same way humans can when they read, understand and sign a printed contract. But animals don't care about printed and signed contracts either.

Animals can consent in any way that is relevant to them.

They sure can't verbally, but in my opinion if you truly love animals and get or got to learn how they act and react, you can very easily determine if they're up for it or not
By experience, as an exemple, the first time I tried to get my (may herest in peace and I hope he's happy boy wherever he is now... life's a bitch) old boy, he wasn't interested and even disliked the fact of being touched. I always respected it and never tried after two unsuccessful attempts

Yet, one stray I met got very lovey after ten minutes of casual petting, despite being a complete stranger, he was the one pressing his sheath on my hand when I was scratching his belly :gsd_nervous:
So I'm pretty sure they can consent in their own way, even ask for it when they want/need it

for male animals certainly

maybe a bit less clear for female animals and also more concerns about hurting them depending on animal

As a lifelong horseman, I think most stallions will be that way until they know they can mate with a human. Even then it will likely take multiple times. Stallions can often masturbate themselves, thudding an erection up against their belly. They might enjoy some stroking, but usually that's from starting with a semi that's just hanging, or they drop with a sheath rub. Essentially, I'm saying that they don't yet know what's possible. Donkeys on the the other hand, they.... they might hop right up even at unexpected times.

Stallions mount dummies every day to have their semen collected. I don't think the start of mating with a human is much different. The association needs to be made first with surroundings, etc.... and mare scent is usually always involved, unless skilled loving hands are present and very adept.

I'm sure you're right but, personally, I'm not really comfortable conditioning sexual behaviour in animals. You can train a horse or a dog to do or tolerate almost anything so the question of consent blurs very quickly.

What I enjoy about my dog is that his desire is profound and very focused, and our bodies are compatible so I can please him in a very natural way. Not so with my horses, unfortunately.
 
i don't know really for sexual stuff

But, as a pet owner and all, animal are pretty clear when thhey don't want to be pet or be hold into your arms. So really i thhink it's clear when they don't want something.
 
Hard for me to say because I don't like seeing animals getting fucked but I do like seeing them doing the fucking. I'm biased towards male dogs fucking women. It doesn't get any clearer in that regard that they want it. I'm envious because I want to be that male dog doing the fucking...lol
 
I used to give dogs bjs and hjs a long time ago. Yes, they can. I had a few that didn't want it, and they showed it. And I stopped with them. The ones that liked it, would go crazy when I came to visit them and often times tried initiating it when I just wanted to play with them.

You know what they can't consent to? Neutering and spaying. Forever altering their body that irreversible. They can't consent to that operation.

But those I did it with, were so happy, and it gave them relief and it caused us to be bonded much closer.
 
Animals can consent. Just because they don’t talk like people doesn’t mean they can’t communicate and talk in their own language.

If anything male dogs struggle with accepting when something doesn’t give them consent. Male dogs will hump anything that lets them half the time and continue trying even if the thing doesn’t want them to hump. A female will turn and bite you or pull away.

Nobody is forcing a dog to hump them in many funny videos. Yet take your clothes off and let the dog do what it’s trying to do and it becomes horrific to them. It doesn't change anything for the dog.
 
Animals can consent, you can understand their behaviour and be respectful od that. I'm mainly into male dogs, so it's a bit easier to know. Bitches on the other hand are quite tricky for me, even though they are sexy I would have doubts if it something she wants or just letting me do it. Maybe if I had more experience with them I would be able to understand them better in that matter.

Nicely said, conditioning animals for sex is wrong in my opinion. I wouldn't want them to do it just because I want, there should me mutual desire in both.
Feeling that dog desire you is one of the best parts of sexual relationships with them ^w^ Thou, for me sex should be an addition to already something deeper established between us.

I had two dogs and I can tell you exactly that if a dog doesn't want something, it simply won't happen.
I never ever had to force a dog. I also mainly enjoy it more when a dog tells me that he wants to hump by jumping on me and pushing me to the ground.
Then he humps me and I slide my pants down and panties aside.
I think that is plenty of consent.

If people these days are so sensitive, then maybe I should tag along and drag my dog to court because he sexually assaulted me?
The amount of crazy people these days is insane.
