just because the is the common knowledge outside of china and a lot of picture people see from china is the dogs in the cages where they are sold for food and some picture and videos of the dogs getting skinned alive
 
but you know what ill be fair - not a lot of people know a lot on countries where they are open to the world so you are correct - people should not fast assume it is all of china
 
@dinadina We got Chinese people on here telling you this. Many Chinese people don't even like it themselves when the others do that to dogs. There are certain areas where it's done, but most people have them as pets.

it was related because we are talking about zoo in china. and that includes dogs and the issues of animal rights were raised .
so we told him what we know, and he explained what is going on and we already ended the subject with my last response.

Weird, most of Europe has left of center governments and it is bestiality is banned there too.
Was it legal under Obama in all of the USA? Oh, sorry, USA is a republic...states make their own laws, so states like CA, WA, OR, DC, MA...which have been Democrat controlled for many years...why is it banned there?

It has more to do how well embedded the Animal-Rights lobby is in government.
 
Be careful about thinking that bestiality is legal in China. Just because it doesn't get mentioned often enough about people caught by authorities having sex with animals, doesn't mean that it won't get negative public attention about it. Why? Because acts of bestiality in China is very rare and not heard of much within the public. If there are cases about it, its mostly kept hush hush secretly under wraps. If mainstream porn of any category is banned all across the board by the Chinese govt (because mainstream porn is widely known everywhere in the world), sooner or later bestiality will catch national attention if more cases like it were to be highlighted into national attention through the media. Let's hope it doesn't become that way.

Yeah, I've said this before on occasion. Just because it's legal in a country doesn't mean it's widely accepted or not frowned upon by its society. As a matter of fact asian countries are fairly conservative when it comes to sexual matters
 
In many asian countries the status of law in this regard is actually unknown. In Hong Kong shows maximum of 10 years in prison and $50,000 fine, and countries like Myanmar and Malaysia you are looking at life in prison or twenty years with a hundred whips. Even in Cambodia where appears to be legal I know cambodian girls are super reserved and conservative. They are not hard to get laid with per se, but their conception of sexuality is more traditional. Words like kinky and fetish sound novel to them, and I think introduction of the subject to a random girlfriend will result in horrific looks and or under 10 second 100 meter sprint runs away from you to a very high likelihood

Right! Only have info about south east Asia.
While beastiality is legal it is not really "legal", it is just not criminalized.
But same goes for animal wellfare and animal cruelty. Not illegal because it is not criminalized.
That will probably change as the countries develop and modernize. Same thing has happened in other developing countries and will most likely be the same thing there/here.

While beastiality is not criminalized, it is still a taboo and not in any way seen as accepted. Men might joke around about fucking some chickens or pigs.
But a women who is fucked by an animal would be seen as something very shameful and terrible. Both by her but also on her family to allowing something so despicable to happen to the wife/daughter.
Finding your daughter knotted with a dog would bring etarnal shame on you as a father.

Then again, a brothel in a rural area a couple of years ago had an orangutan as a prostitute, and she was the most popular hooker at that brothel.
 
Well the tratment of animals is significantly worse there in general so animal abuse laws are looser too
