As I don't have insight on your specific situation, I can say that you are not anywhere near alone in your work/household situation. I too work massive hours, normally over 50 and sometimes in excess of 70 hours a week. Everyone is not wrong that it takes away from a personal life, but, we choose this for a reason. I have a family to take care of and they rely on me to give them a good and stable life in a good area. It may be a old school mindset, but, that how I was raised. We are the backbone of the economy but many don't realize that bc we are out of sight, therefore, out of mind.
No one but you is aware of the fine details of your life and why you choose to live the life you do. If you're happy, you keep doing you.
I know this was way off topic and I apologize for that. Just seemed like quite a few were telling you that you aren't doing things correctly. Wanted you to be reassured that you are doing what makes you happy and that is what matters.
