Snatched a bit of art (respectfully) off the internet...waiting for my own art to be commissioned (have some waiting!)

With AI you can make one of your own choice so why would one want to steal someone's avatar?
Everyone thinks they can write some prompts in a web based generator, and generate a picture, but in the end it turns out that AI can't read minds, and the vast majority of users are satisfied with whatever is closest to what they want.
Real masterpieces are produced with powerful software, such as Stable diffusion, but it first requires a very powerful computer, second - the installation is far from for every lamer and third, every noob, looking at the interface, feels like a neanderthal , trapped in the cockpit of a Boeing-777.
In the end, few people get to master the software, the rest prefer to steal something ready-made.

Yeah nah that's actually me in my pfp and let me tell you it's not easy to type out creepy messages to women with these paws but I don't know any other way to score with one of those human bitches

I actually commisioned this piece from an artist, I dont post the art anywhere so it gives me enough distance from being distance from being discovered on a website like this.

I remember back in the good ole BF days I would scour my videos for hours over several days to make sure there was no identifiable things on them, which in turns means I remember every single frame of them.

That brings me to this poll, How many of you use material that someone else created or posted as an avatar? I personally have seen at least 17 members using my material, which pisses me the hell off at first, but then I remember I put that name to rest and that includes ownership of that material and then it makes me a little proud.

My current avatar is a modified animated version of a non zoo meme I found to be extremely cute.

On that same note, how many of you have seen your material used as an avatar? Do you care? Does it bother you or make you proud?

I voted for the first and last.

Please feel free to elaborate and tell your story :)
AI should stop all of this.
