Are cops really trying to track us down?

With the sheer insanity of the world these days, and much bigger sexual issues online (hunting down child traffickers and such) are there really likely to be cops lurking these forums and chatting to arrange meet ups? I'm set to meet somebody this weekend, and I feel like I've been as safe as possible, but I have a nagging fear of him being an undercover cop. Is that really actually likely or is it just a big fear thing that isn't based in reality?

if your just meeting to talk or have fun yourselves then your not doing anything wrong. as long as no pet involved its just a fantasy. have sex and enjoy and see if good match. when time for zoo fun later then have them start the fun. once they playing zoo then you know not leo

What are you set up to be doing? A Coffee date is harmless. If, However, youve planned to do more and immediately, you probably should listen to that little naggy voice inside. Stall it off if you have to, because cops looking for Overtime can't spend long on any one case. " Produce a crime, or move on" is pretty much their mandate. If youre in Virginia, WVa, DC, Md or Southern Pa, be exceedingly wary. There IS a cruising Cop in Fairfax County, with a hard on for beasties, and a damn fine track record to show his bosses. He busted people out of B/F and could easily be here. Use good judgement. Dont show up with your critter in tow.

Unless you make yourself a quick and easy target, cops won't put the time in unless they can make multiple arrests and give it a fancy headline like a "sex ring bust". I doubt a cop will spend months chatting to a zoo just for the chance to maybe make one arrest. If you're an owner I would be concerned about acquiring a stalker, don't rush into things and start with public meets without the dogs once you trust him. If this guy is genuine, he'll put in the time and effort.

I’m in VA, so I appreciate the heads up!

So this goes with what many have been saying, keep your private business to yourself!

As some who has worked closely with LE in my distant past (but not LE myself), I can assure you that beastiality is way down the list of things they worry about. Child sex abuse* and exploitation of minors and women are the focus, and even then, resources are stretched so thin it's sometimes laughable. I know one major jurisdiction on a known trafficking route that has a total of two detectives handling all cases, about 40/month. Two. And the digital forensics work involved in main cases faces months of backlog in certain areas.

Now, there are a few places where there are a few LE dedicated to this stuff, as saddlebum pointed out, but I never met any in my past work life, ever.

Use your common sense, listen to your gut, and start things out slow, especially us newbies here. Your grand-mother was right. If it sounds too good to be true? It most likely is. keep your private kinks, espcially this one, really close to your chest with strangers.

*Rant: Please use the terms CSAM (child sex abuse material) or ICAC (Internet crimes aginst children) and not the term "child porn". Child porn makes it sound like some pre-teen curious girl on the verge of her womanhood experimenting. The reality is that 59% of CSAM happens against children under the age of 5, with 19% under the age of 2. Think about the sickest thing you can, then make it 10x worse.

While most jurisdictions don't have cops *ACTIVELY HUNTING* zoos, you damn-well better believe they'll snatch any "low hanging fruit" you provide for them. Then there are fun little Empires like the one Joe Arpaio had going in Phoenix, where there was an ACTIVE, DELIBERATE effort being run to lure in zoos so they could be paraded as "trophy busts".

Wasn't there an old Sheriff in AZ that had an obsession with busting zoos?

When I worked IT subcontract for the RCMP, they called it CP. It referred to any material under the age of 18 that had sexual overtones. It differentiated the fully legal "nudist art" that had zero sexual overtones.
So if you see me referring to as "CP", that's where I got it from.

Is bestiality still legal in NM? It's an ultimate dream of mine to start a co-op naturalist/zoo ranch. It would be so amazing to live among others with the same affinity. Private, yet freeing.

Even if it is, it's not wise to base a business model on something that can be criminalized at the stroke of a pen in an era where it's cool to destroy such said business model.

It certainly would not be wise for a business. Co-op living, at its core, isn't really a business though. Think more like a community lead homestead. Everyone has a hand and place in keeping the place running, we grow our own food, etc...

As many have mentioned, budget and manpower combined with shit MUCH worse than you jacking off your dog makes this EXTREMELY unlikely. Further, the nature of this particular website (GLOBAL membership) compounds that aspect even more, imo. In certain *select* locations, yeah, sure, maybe. Members here are not required to select a location. That makes searching for a particular location EXTREMELY difficult (I suspect strongly, that's why that's not a requirement, call it an added layer of security for users).

Imagine the meeting where the boss is asking what you've dug up and are working on, you, the cop in middle america......and all you have is some kinky bitch in the UK.......Hmmm.....Ok, drop that shit and find something else to do.

On Craigslist, you'd likely be at higher risk simply because no one places or answers ads more than reasonable driving distance, no one serious anyway, and thus, it would be MUCH easier to specifically target users in a defined area. Here, we all talk with folks from all over the world, sometimes not even KNOWING they are 8000 miles away. Imagine time and budget constraints being under the gun and you fishing in a worldwide lake trying to land a local fish......good luck with that.

I'm not fool enough to say it doesn't or won't happen, because.....well, life.......but, I am very confident in saying that if you follow simple internet safety precautions that you SHOULD be using regardless of beast implications, you're almost bullet-proof. First and foremost, you meet somewhere neutral and excessively public. Busy coffee shop, mall, you get the idea. No one is paying you any mind, but if there are issues, there are shitloads of people around if you need to raise alarm. It's YOUR life and safety, don't fuck around and take chances. 2nd, as others have pointed out, do NOT bring fido with you. This does not mean don't bring him to wherever you're meeting (I only add this because people are fucking stupid and will inevitably choose a place where an animal IS allowed to be, without being a service dog......), this means do not bring the dog at ALL. Period. Take a picture of the dog if you must, but keep it PG, you never know.

Lather, rinse, repeat. Do the meeting loop as many times as YOU need to feel safe, PERIOD. Might be one meet, might be 10, who cares as long as you don't end up dead or in a cell. And, don't let anyone RUSH you or the process. Anyone that eager is trouble waiting to happen. Don't let them happen to you.

If that goes well, then you can move to the next step. I'm not offering any advice on that next step because that has to be decided by the folks in the meeting. Way too many variables for me to be giving blanket advice. Except that if you're alarm bells are ringing, you need to reset and drop it. Time to pack up and move on. Who makes the 1st move in the next scenario is also really dependent on how everyone feels about the sterile meet(s). Impossible to determine from where I sit. I know how I feel and how I operate, but that's based on all my perceptions from the meet, not necessarily a set list of criteria. What I do may not, most likely is not, what you do or will do. Above all, use your head and make decisions based on common sense. And, most importantly, DO NOT disregard gut feelings, whatever they are. Those exist for a reason, and most often those reasons involve your safety and well being, disregard them at your own peril. And, yes, it's true, sometimes those gut feelings are good, but, far more often, they are not. Pay attention. It's your ass on the line. Don't take chances.

I'd add one more thing to this:

You say "use your head" - And I further specify "the one ON YOUR SHOULDERS, not the one IN YOUR PANTS". Too damned many otherwise reasonably decent people turn into plain idiots who think with the one in their pants. Especially in this little corner of the "Kink Korral".

Doesn't matter how desperately horny you are - You can always spank one out in the closet or whatever. Gettin' yer dick wet (or pussy filled, as the case may be) isn't worth spending the rest of your life reporting in as a sex offender.

Agreed. Completely forgot about the little head angle. I should probably add "DON'T THINK WITH YOUR DICK" as a sig, lol.

What about curious boys?
on the verge of her womanhood experimenting.
I fail to see how you got this from "child" and again what about boys
The reality is that 59% of CSAM happens against children under the age of 5, with 19% under the age of 2. Think about the sickest thing you can, then make it 10x worse.
Have you got sources for this the numbers are always changing but I have never seen any percentage specifically for 2 year olds, usually it is under 13, under 8/6 and 1 and bellow.

Sorry, overly angry sounding reply removed. My bad.

That was definitely in two PDFs reports from LE and one NGO I had from about two-three years ago. The number stood out because I tend to remember numbers easily (like my grade school locker combination from decades ago).

Child because that that is how many people perceive the idea of "child porn". Like slightly just not quite consensual experimentation. I was trying to imply these are mostly children and toddlers under the age of 5. 58% of these crimes are against that age group. Not sure but I'm obviously misunderstanding or not explaining well enough I guess.

Are LE keeping private records or are they making numbers up, there is no way those numbers are for adult with child with all the tools they have or maybe they are using old data, plus I have only seen a few arrests for production in the past few years. But I don't believe that even if it was self made to be more then all other under age material.

Only ever heard people think it is where children being used, tricked or forced, only hebe or jailbait is where I would hear what you said. But what do you think of when you see "child actor", "child talent show" and any another word we prefix with child?
Like slightly just not quite consensual experimentation.
Yup that would be hebe/jailbait but consensual experimentation. Who does non consensual experimentation to themselves?

If they don't give them to public, I won't believe them and they know those numbers will be used against them so they won't

Ugh why is it always Virginia. I miss my home. Thanks for the tip.

As someone with experience on the subject, an innocent coffee date can lead to arrest. It doesn't take anything at all to cross the threshold of taking a substantial step towards committing a sec crime. Even showing up at a restaurant. There are no mens rea clauses for sex crimes. They are very very vague. Just a heads up, I've seen arrests just for talking about something and never leaving your house to follow through.

The biggest danger isn't the police - at least in the UK - but vigilante gangs who lure people onwards into a compromising situation and then turn them over to the police. It's probably the same elsewhere too.
I think the greatest probability is for those that may try to sneak in a quicky in someone's barn that has security cameras. Quite a few in the US that have been caught that way. I have not heard of any Joe Citizens trying to entrap someone. Legally, it may be a problem, particularly if there is no video proof.
