Terrifier is interesting.

I’ve heard the terrified movies especially the last one is mostly just a gore fest. Not much of any suspense and just meant to try and make you puke. I never even heard of the movies before till someone told me they saw the third one in theaters recently and that thought it was so-so.

Having seen the original in 1973, I just watched the prequel to The Exorcist. It’s called “Dominion: The Exorcist Prequel.” I like the actor, something Skarsgard, so I took a shot. It was quite good! I was pleasantly surprised.

I tried to watch the first Terrifier and bailed after about 15 min. Definitely not my cup of tea.

Yeah my friend said they considered leaving a few times during the terrifier 3 but he hates wasting money. Still wasted money tho. I like my horror with suspense and good story telling and some mystery. A dude just goring it up for shock isn’t my cup of tea either.

I kept seeing stuff about Terrifier on the internet and I attributed it to their media campaign. I'm surprised the franchise has lasted this long. I guess it's cheap and easy to make. Maybe other people like it but it's not for me.
