I just had a thought... if anthropomorphic animals were real, would having sex with them still be considered bestiality? Why, or why not? What do you think?

What kind of anthropomorphic animal? If you mean talking dogs or something like the "feral" furry art then yes, absolutely. I think the majority would consider having sex with intelligent talking dogs bestiality. If a hyper intelligent bipedal dog like species landed on Earth and started voluntarily having sex with humans? I'm pretty sure many people would be freaking out about aliens landing on Earth but I don't think "bestiality" would be the concern.

it would be considered "inter-species sex"... bestiality is sex with an animal and anthropomorphic animal is no longer "just" an animal (aren't humans technically also anthropomorphic animals? sex with one is not considered bestiality), they would still be a different species than us, thus "inter-species sex"

I'd think anything 4 and over would be bestiality. But you could also argue that 3 would be bestiality too.

Anthro animals are animals with a human form, and even if they were a human/animal hybrid with mixed DNA I think it would still be partial bestiality at least.
