What does it cost in materials to make one? I know the actual toy is pricy but not terrible, but I don’t know how much the casting process costs. Obviously a horse would be a whole lot more lol

I wish I had someone to mold my big guy before he was sold

I 3d printed a mold for a small horse toy with a knot, about $40 in fillament. The amount of Platinum cure silicone I would need is over $100 plus shipping. I would also need a vacuum pot to degas the silicone after mixing plus any colors I want to give it. So yeah it can be a little pricey. That is the reason the mold I made is sitting in my closet collecting dust.

That is an amazing collection, honestly kind of a dream/goal collection right here lol. Where did you get these or you made them yourself?

Yeah I've 3d printed toys to make from silicone too. Sadly the printing is the easy/cheap part. I made my own horse toy (large Chance) using that method and it worked but not ideal.

Nice collection, very colourful. I have drawers overflowing with other toys too. I am quite a fan of anything with a knot or horse-shaped.
