What’s your favorite car?

My favorites are still my teenage wet dreams Lamborghini Diablo and McLaren F1. Pagani Huayra from modern times.
In fact there are very few not likeable cars that are worth more than my lifelong salary. 🤣

American car: 1972 olds 4422
Import car: 1994 Mitsubishi 3000 GT VR4 or 2003 evo VIII
american truck: late 70s f150 with the 351 winsor.
Modern American: 2018 shelby gt 350.

Im an american motors lover myself. But also respect import flagships from audi, bmw, nissan and toyota.
But im hard headed, so "no replacement for displacement" 🤣😂

EDIT: Fixed a typo.

Dream car as a kid was a Nissan skyline r34 1c3388150581647.Y3JvcCwyNzYxLDIxNjAsNzcyLDA.jpg

Dream car now is a Nissan skyline r32download.jpeg

Dream big money car that I have no hope of ever owning is a Ferrari F40download (ee1).jpeg

And semi practical and potentially obtainable dream car is a Nissan GU patrol download (yy1).jpeg

Btw I'm a massive car nerd so if anyone ever wants to talk about cars message me haha

I’m a car guy and I can’t find any threads about cars on here.

Mine would either have to be a 1993 corvette zr1 or a 1972 Chevelle.
I've always wanted a Plymouth Fury, the same color as Christine cuz that's just bad ass. My dream car is a Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe, they're so elegant.
Out of any of the cars I've ever personally owned it would be my first car, my 98 Jeep Cherokee Sport. I didn't realize what a gem I had until someone rear ended me. I miss that car to this day.

Current project car is an 07 saab 9-3
I'd like to have a Nissan r33 v-spec or a 71' mustang mach 1 with a built 429 and 6 speed swapped.

Until I bought my Taurus several years ago, I mostly drove used cars. One of my favs was a 1995 Miata M convertible. It was cute, peppy, and a-m-a-z-i-n-g-l-y reliable. I kept it for about six years then sold it to a kid who totally fetishized the car and offered $3K more than I listed it for on craig's list if he could pick it up that day. Um, sure?
Miata’s are a very fun little cars and very reliable

Good question!

If I have to go with just one for everything then it will have to be a Toyota Land Cruiser 300 or a Volvo XC90

Billionaire Fantasy: Koenigsegg CCXR

Offroad Toy: 79 Series Land Cruiser

Track Toy: Porsche Cayman GT4RS

I'd also love to own about a thousand more cars and motorbikes but I'm trying to keep it short.

Would love to own a saab sonett they're interesting most of them being powered by the rather rare Ford V4 and backed by a four speed manual. There were 3 generations of the sonnet each designated by a Roman numeral. They were produced from 1955 to 1974.

Lamborghini Diablo SV
Lamborghini Countach LP5000 QV
McLaren F1
Pagani Huayra BC
Chevrolet Corvette Stingray (1981)

But most of all, Pagani Zonda Cinque. Specifically the one in orange/black.

A man with taste🙂 The Cinque has been the subject of wet dreams for years😂

Loved the Cinque since I first saw it. I don't think it's been topped by anything, even Pagani's newer models.

I wasn't a fan of the Huayra when it came out, and I thought it looked a bit ugly to be honest. But over time it grew on me, and the Huayra BC fixed every issue I had with the original design, and I ended up liking the BC a lot. Even the Utopia looked a bit odd to me at first, but I'm starting to like it more now that I've seen it in different colours. It looks pretty cool in black. They even painted one in the Cinque black/white with red stripe.

I'll also add the Pagani Codalunga to that list. A car that I never even knew existed until a couple of weeks ago.

I think I first saw the cinque on a need for speed game🤣 Immediately went to the top of my dream list. The sound from its 7.3l V12 AMG Masterpiece is something out of this world. I actually love the Huayra, the interior is very opulent and overdone though. Typical Pagani. I love the BC though as well.

Was it Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit (2010)? Because that's where I first saw it. It was the poster car for the game, along with a police Lamborghini Reventon.

It was! On Xbox360🤣 When it came out I thought it was the greatest thing I'd ever played. The graphics were quite good for the time. I still have it and my 360. Played it the other day and couldn't believe how shit it was, shows how far games have come. But you're talking to someone that still plays gran turismo 3 and Star Wars battlefront (2004.) Hot pursuit and NFS Rivals. Those were both great.

I played the hell out of Hot Pursuit back in the day. I grew up playing the original NFSIII: Hot Pursuit (1998) when I was a little kid. I still listen to the music from that game to this day. The fact you could put your own music in the 2010 game was great, because I just put the original music in for some crazy nostalgia. The Zonda Cinque was by far my most used car for both factions. The police Zonda looked really cool.

I loved driving the Cinque in Project CARS, too. The detail of the interior and the sound of the engine was incredible.

I'm a forza convert now, the new NFS games are garbage. Shitty, arcade handling and poor storyline and gameplay. I think the last really good NFS was Undercover for ps2. With the GT2RS. Loved that game, finished it like ten times, also have heavy nostalgia from the soundtrack. That game got me into Nine Inch Nails. Underground 2 and Most wanted are obviously in their top games ever as well. I think it all went downhill after Rivals.

I loved Underground 2. I probably spent more time modding the cars than driving them  I remember having a real nice blue Mazda RX-8 and a red/black pearlescent Mazda RX-7.

Nice! I used love spending hours customising cars. NFS undercover and Carbon were the best for that.
