I wish my husband would let me get a dog

How do you think he would take it if he found out? I'm going to guess probably negatively since he won't even let you guys get a pet. When you say he isn't a dog person, is that because he's allergic or he just doesn't like dogs?

He actually loves dogs! But he "doesn't want the responsibility of taking care of a dog right now"... I have hinted and briefly joked about why I want a large breed male dog but he didn't seem very receptive to the idea 😔

So when you say he doesn't want the responsibility "right now", does it seem like it's actually a right now thing or a never thing? Maybe take him to a park or something where there are pets and owners and show him how much joy animals bring their owners. Maybe when you're out doing errands with him ask to go to the shelter or something just to look at the animals there and maybe that can soften him up a bit.

I think most are just going off of what a marriage used to mean. There has always been swingers, but that was a mutual thing. Be honest, and tell your husband that you’d like to get fucked by a dog. It may work out for you, or it could end up going up in flames.
I would think if you both agreed to a open marriage, and what your asking about, there was never talk or even a thought of you considering sex with a dog.

Open or not it requires honesty or it's not really marriage.

I'm in a similar, but opposite boat. It is difficult and disheartening, but I know I will get a dog. Just a matter of time, unfortunately.
 
Wow, you guys are a bit harsh dont you think. I read lots of posts about guys wishing their wife would and how they aren't brave enough to tell their spouse. I don't see you dragging them. I'm sure there are kind and courteous people on this board, I'm just as sure they really haven't shown up for @lost_puppy. So I will offer you some condolences for your situation as well as an apology for your treatment here.
First, I am truly sorry for the behavior of some of my peers. They should know better.
Second, I too am married to someone who will never cross that line. In fact I don't have the courage to bring it up to her because in general we are barely getting along anymore. If your marriage is good otherwise, you could try to chalk this one up to a dream that will go unfulfilled. Like my dream of being an astronaut. There are many ladies on this board that do in fact have dogs, and who may even let you be used by them. Ask around. It may happen. You will kill 2 birds with one stone. Make a friend and get mounted. If it doesn't come to fruition, take the best things out of life that are available to you. No one gets everything unfortunately. Hell half the male population has a dick smaller than 5.5 inches. Those poor guys got it worse. You could buy a dildo. You can't fix tiny!!

If your husband has anything to say about anything at all your doing it wrong! Ask your mother.
