first time ever posting in a forum so lets see how this goes!!

dose anyone know of any zooy pride merch like pins, pride flags or just any accessories, I'm sure there out there and just evading my google searchers.
I have heard a friend mention you used to be able to get a zeta pride pin but I cant find any proof of that sadly.

and if there isn't any around that should change. im looking into getting some beanies made but given I have no idea what I'm doing its a slow process :giggle:
 
I know nothing of zeta pride, and I want to keep things that way. Any elements that can unintentionally tell others you're into something like zoophilia is a rash and risky idea

you definitely have a point it opens you up to a lot of risk, but high risk often means high reward and I like my odds!

You guys are going to have to let me know how you feel about this.. but my take on all this is that being a zoo is absolute nothing to be proud about. It can be something to be ashamed about, or can be something to be nothinged about. But you certainly shouldn't have any pride in it.

No need to be ashamed of it (except people who abuse animals, they should be ashamed, but I'll only focus on true zoo's who love their animals and would never harm them). Accepting it makes life easier, and if your animal partner likes and enjoys it, it's certainly not wrong.

But our society is still too stupid and narrow-minded, so any kind of open zeta pride is indeed extremely dangerous. It's the same situation as with homosexuals a few decades ago - back then there was definitely no reason to be ashamed of it, but it was also extremely dangerous and social suicide if people found out you were gay (unfortunately it can still be problematic nowadays actually)...

What would you even gain from anything like that?
Every time the now normal gay movement does one of these, it is a shit show. The most degenerate idiots gather up and parade the streets practically naked generating nothing more, than more public hatred. At best they are ridiculed and laughed at. But it is not making them more acceptable.
A zoo pride is never going to be a good idea, ever, even if zoo becomes legal in the future.

I agree that this "aggressive pride" is never a good idea. Pride in a sense that it suggests that a zoo/gay/whatever is in any way better or superior to "normal people" is wrong anyway (and stupid, too)... but probably the term "pride" is also somewhat vague. "Pride" in a provocative way will always cause more harm than good. "Pride" in a sense that it just means you're not ashamed of being a zoo isn't wrong IMO.

Ideally (in a perfect world) even "passive pride" (like having a zeta flag on your t-shirt) shouldn't be condemnable (similar to when a gay person wears a rainbow flag). It doesn't hurt anyone. Not sure though if there is anything to gain from doing that... maybe it's just for the own feelings... you could perhaps compare it with patriotism: there is basically nothing to gain from waving the flag of the own country, but if someone does, it shouldn't be condemnable either.

I feel like we are on the same page here,
my original intent with making this thread was to see if anything that could be described as "zooy merch" existed. I don't recall saying im going to wear it anywhere but in my own home or around like minded friends as a bit of a laugh, but that seems to be the narrative here.

but my belief is there isn't any shame in being a zoo.

that never ends well and is counterproductive, overall the state of pride shown by most groups can be better defined as public indecency.
I dont think being a zoo will ever gain the level of public acceptance and understanding that the modern LGBTQ+ movement has and im quite ok with that.

end of the day I think most of us just want to not end up in prison for looking at knots :gsd_happysmile:
