Zoophiles and Zweihanders: Tabletop Gaming for Zoos

Kynophile

Given current events, I find myself with a surplus of free time on the weekends, and I'm sure there are many others here in the same position. As such, I think it might be fun to start combining two of my passions into one, and give some people here a little entertainment along the way.

In addition to being zoo, I'm a tabletop roleplaying nerd. My main experiences are with Dungeons and Dragons, but I've played a few others, and really the crowd you're with matters more than the game itself. Some classes, races, and campaign settings lend themselves well to animal, tribal, and shapeshifting themes, and really any kind of story can be told with the right pieces. So, why not get a group of zoos together, roll some (virtual) dice, and pretend to slay dragons? Or seduce them, like Elminster? Charm creatures with a song, speak to them, awaken their minds, make dark bargains with faeries or fight for the god of the wilderness... imagination is really the only limit.

If there's enough interest, I'd love to start a campaign on Roll20 or FantasyGrounds, using Discord for chat. Or to play in someone else's game, if one exists. Just reply to this thread, and if enough people do, I'll PM them details and start a group on here for it.

Honestly I've never really played tabletop games, but it's definitely something I'd be interested in learning. Definitely PM me if this is something you end up doing, I'd love to be a part!

ive always wanted to get into DnD but never could since I havent found a group to introduce me. But hey, the ability to seduce a dragon or other thing thats being smug, trying to hide information? That would be lovely

So, I've decided to start this thing up. I'll PM those who have replied here a link to a group I'll make for it, so we can discuss timing, character design, style, and so on. This will be open for up to six people (more gets too chaotic for one campaign). So, PM or join the group to learn more about it.

If I weren't so busy and could spend time enough in game I would be down with trying this again, long as I don't roll a zero trying to charm a unicorn into laying her head in my lap and get run through with her horn instead

i would love to try this, i've played D&D before and want to play a tabletop game like it again but i can't find a reliable group to join

you could setup this game in tabletop simulator just bought this game with a couple friends and we play board games together online!

I think I’d be well up for trying a tabletop game like this, but I must warn you I’ve never done this before so I won’t be very good. If you think I’ve got what it takes please message me with further details. Thanks

I like tabletop games. I've done a few short adult themed D&D campaigns but nothing zoo focused. I'd be interested.

I have never made zoo oriented campaigns but u have been gm on countless campaigns and one shot scenarios over the years. I think this sounds like such a great idea and a big part of me would love to join. But i don't know how i could, since i'm living under the same roof someone who is a non-zoo. So it would be difficult to do a adult oriented game through voice chat, even if it sounds damn cool :D

I already do this just about every week. But normal table games or cards are also involved depending on the mood and if any prep is done. I would highly recommend it.

If there were a zoophilic D&D campaign that ran on 5e rules and where we all had the option to have sexy animal interactions in character, I would be entirely too down to play in that group. Not to mention how nice it would be to have a regular meeting of zoo friends.

I am playing a dnd campaign irl that my character is a dog that is more than a dog. A doberman named roftalia. ? it has benn a ton of fun building her and getting around not having thumbs.

I played a Blink Dog in a campaign. He was an Arcane Trickster Rogue that could use Mage Hand to interact with his environment. Since Blink Dogs have an intelligence of 10 it made logical sense that he could learn to understand common, though we RPed it as taking many sessions for him to become proficient at understand it. Never learned to talk though, but that's what made him fun to play. Also I could teleport, that was freaking sweet lol.

Roftalia is a dragon born in 5e. I consider her a half dragon just more a dog than dragon. Built as a bard fighter. Mage hand was definitely a must. Her goal in life is to unlock her dragon blood and become more dragon.
