Zoo exclusive realization?

What was it like becoming zoo exclusive?
Was there a specific moment, or experience that really pushed the needle?

Curious for perspective as someone with multiple interests

May not be exactly what you are looking for but I have always been female dog exclusive. I have never felt even the slightest draw to anything else. I have felt this way as long as I can remember.

I think in most cases you are zoo exclusive or you are not, since the reasons are often located in the early youth. For me it was a trauma/destruction of trust at a very early age. And then its not just like flipping a switch but it develops over time. When you found your species(in my case wolves and dogs) you feel trust, you feel a bond, caring, protection and you really enjoy closeness. And with puberty, you start to map the rest to it. Your perception is different you find the other body aesthetic, interesting and beautiful, even without sex. As weird as it will sound, I see humans neutrally like "normal" people see animals: connections yes but not the slightest draw to it, no attraction. On top of that, if someone would offer me to switch to a canine body like in avatar, Id say hell yes In the end, since it doesnt match the life plan in the community, being exclusive is rather a curse than a blessing when you get old. Since you have no offspring and no marriage, your family life will end at some point leaving you alone. Since you have to care for a canine partner and they cannot care for themself or even for you that also ends at some point. I cannot imagine it differently, but from a logical point of view if you have multiple interests and a human side left in you, then preseve that Its a lot more easier later on.

I was not pushed by anything definite, basically this direction seemed more sympathetic and many small things also directed me here.
I'm sure there were psychological explanations, but that's how it works for me and good.
