it is exactly like every bodies life except for the fact I wake up to lovely dogs next to me in bed every morning then feed sheep, after first cup of coffee.

you do every thing, well other than security, can't beat a self guided fur missile, but, sick or not, you got to do it, they will do what they can to be worried and comforting about you, but that's where it ends as they don't have the ability, to do more than that, when they are sick? You do every thing and taking medication can be a fight.
Maintaining the house, all on you, and they can increase that work load should they decide a corner tastes good.

What do you want to know exactly ?Is there an zoo-exclusive member here who would like to honestly describe his/her average everyday life? that is, only what belongs to us, I would like to get to know this way of life in detail. Thank you all!

I'm only interested in general experiences, I know the good side, I'm trying to find out the bad side
If you can have and maybe want to have a human partner. Which would measurably make your life easier. Why do you want to switch to a zoo exclusive kind of relationship?
The bad side is that you are alone when it comes to solving problems. For example imagine you are 70 and something health related happens to you alone at home.
When it comes to money, you only have one income. When you loose a job, you do not have a second person temporarily covering your expenses for you. Instead you have an animal increasing those expenses.
A relationship with an animal is amazing but it is not like a human. They do not talk, they provide love to you, but not in the same way as a human being. I have seen some people not being happy about that, because it did not fulfill their expectations.
You are going to loose several loved partners over the course of your life and it will be devastating.
Being zoo exclusive should be for people who can not physically bring themselves to love a human. But for a human capable of that, it makes no sense and probably will not make you happier.

well, the worst of the bad is that they will die before you do. a bit of you will die with every single one of them. bit of you will also die each time someone says "just get a new one" as if a piece of furniture broke.
it fucking sucks be only in my thirties and already through this twice... third time maybe sooner than anticipated too.
zoo-exclusivity is a fucking curse and if you can do whatever to avoid it, do so. being zoo-exclusive won't make you "unique" or "special". it will make you bitter. sooner or later.
No back stabbing, no hiding things... dogs mostly provide unconditional love... humans many times fake love to get benefits from it. I saw many relationships when one person was actually blindly inlove and the other one wanted just the benefits.
But as said before - it's extremely hard to live alone - I have it all, more then most people on this forum could ever dream about, but I can't relax and enjoy it. The thought of something happening to me and leaving my animals behind with none to take care of them is always there!
