Sadly, my 95hp Fiat Grande Punto won't go far i think in a drag race...

Good old Toyota Camry v6 got 270 hp. Thing goes hard but it guzzles too. Makes quick work of 350z g35 gt86 mazdaspeed3 things like that. Plus it handles good for the size.

V6 and V8 engines are not fashionable in Europe... Fuel is expensive and there are many other taxes on "big" engines. The further east we are, the more valid it is.
A very large percentage of people drive a car with a maximum of around 80-120 horsepower (~60% gasoline), and all-terrain vehicles have a similar performance, almost all of them are diesel.

Mine 2014 Caddy Maxi Life, 7 gang DSG and 4motion. 2.0 CRTDI originally 170 HP, but La Chiptuning workshop solved the 200 HP and 410 Nm.
