Would you look for a roommate on here?

I'm curious how many of you have looked for or would look for roommates on this or any other zoo site? I know it's risky, probably even stupid. Not any worse than meeting for relationships I'd assume. I just would really like to have a zoo as a roommate. Ideally zoofurry. Any tips for searching? Other than "DONT DO IT!!!" ? lol

You remember the little difference between dating for a relationship and dating other people into mostly (= most countries or their states) illicit sexual interests?

There are nonetheless quite a few of zoophiles that I knew or still know which found zoophiles as living / house sharing partner. But unfortunately I could also tell you that the biggest share which I knew were not long together at one place, as it didn't work out somehow.

Doesn't mean that you should stop the search - I wish you the best luck. But be careful, even more if your country or state is one of those less open in terms of laws.

Most either met online, on zoo events or conventions (there were quite a few in the past, at least in this country, as it was legit until ~2012), were friends, knew each other from third parties or similar.

Thanks for the tips. I wish there was a off grid zoo commune or something. That would be perfect. It can definitely be a challenge to find the right pack of people who really mesh. Personally I'm one of those types who can fit in anywhere because I'm really good to others around me. Unfortunately I dont always get the same respect in return. I've had lots of bad roommates so I'm super picky nowdays. With the zoo thing added into the mix, that brings up a whole bunch of additional things to look out for, like animal users and abusers and dummies who wave their zoophile flag publicly putting me and my dog at risk. ?

Yes, definitely. Ways more than you listed.

You will not find a better.. set of people under zoophiles compared to non-zoos, if you search for "community / living group participants". The problems just .. differ a bit, but it is nonetheless rare to find any right pack, as to even find just one right person which you will still trust in 1, 2, 5, 10.. years is basically a job for a whole life and many don't succeed in it.

Even that one person is as different from you as you can imagine and has their own goals, you might just have luck with a few aspects in which you both are looking into the same direction. A "pack" which works together without too much individuality? If you search for this, better look at the canidae animal species.

It can still be worth the try. Maybe you have immense luck and find the one person which you'll have as a friend in years without bidirectional betrayal, lies, boredom, dissonances, hate.. Hopefully. But be careful, at least not less careful than under non-zoos.

What sorts of ways in your view?

I'm using the term pack here lightly, it would be great to have truly like minded, close friends as roommates but all I care about at this point is having ones who are safe to be around, apply common sense and are respectful. That alone has been a challenge for years. I wish I could just live in the forest with the wolves. ?

But be careful, at least not less careful than under non-zoos.
Oh yah. Just being zoo, safety has to be a top priority for myself and my canine partner and I refuse to associate myself with zoos irl who don't take safety seriously.

Hehe, one of the additional "ways" you wanted to read about. Even just basic requirements are often hard to find fulfilled (guaranteed, qualitative and regularly at least). Other "way more aspects" are trustworthiness, betrayal, theft, denunciation, sexual misuse of either you or your animals, financial fuck-ups (which fake your signature to order stuff, as example.. yes, that's a thing!) and around two hundred further aspects.

Sure those are also existent in-between non-zoos living together. But the fuck-up scale that was shown over the years through those living together was quite.. top notch. Like really, I sometime wondered they did survive up to the actual time in life.

It gets more complicated if the people you meet with are without own animals, which is quite often the case.

Own cooperation partnership business partners and flat sharing oriented, not zoophiles, neither anything between us resulted in experiences: Roughly 2/3 of those I've stayed in the same places with over the last 14 years did not even care about their own stuff in a matter which would allow a clean, hygienic usage, a working reliable and well stored condition. Neither caring for sustaining a mess-free condition. And I talk about quite well high-paid business owners.

Even without any zoo- or relationship aspect included, it's a wholesomely less stressing and angering life without other humans around. Because you can trust and expect things from you safely.
Still not saying you shouldn't try it, but please bear with me having a slight evil grin on my lips, haha. :husky_happysmile:

Yah I know what you mean. But after all the shitty roommates I've dealt with, I still have a little shred of hope left that I'll be able to find a zoo roommate someday who's a good person. Or just live on my own like you said.

There are surely good persons around, under zoophile people as well.
Just hard to find "the right ones" sometime I guess. It's easier worth the time if you actually want human contacts.
Not needing those makes it quite useless to search for humans in real life, except if you mainly stay together for other aspects, hobbies, activities.
