I'm happy you found this forum and feel that it is allowing you to be more open about who you are as that is its primary function.
I do believe beign a zoo is not as rare as we might think but I will also add that I highly doubt it is anywhere near common, most people I know sneer with disgust at the idea of intimate contact with an animal's genitalia and that disgust is not a farse. Just remember that being on here shouldn't skew your perception of the real world, what we do is still very rare.

I know, I'm right there with you. It's infuriating to know we're walking past people every day who are zoos as well, and we will never know, nor have anyway to contact them.
I actually had a Zeta pin custom made on redbubble. The design I used is attached below. The pin cost me about $10 with shipping. I've never worn it out in public though. I definitely would but my partner isn't comfortable with the idea, so I don't, out of consideration.

on one hand, i understand that it can get kinda lonely at best, at worst you don't have anyone to talk to when something bad happens... it was fucking painful to have noone when my boy died. he was "just a dog" to everyone around me. it was the thing that turned me from lurker to a frequent poster here, to have at least some ppl that can understand how it really felt
on the other hand, i have literally no idea what i'd do if i spotted another zoo or they spotted me "out there"... "i also like to fuck dogs" sounds like a terrible foundation for a friendship of any kind. too many "what if"s for not much potential gain since i'm not really interested in other ppl (in general, not just sexually)
