It's an obvious double standard. For purposes of breeding, the dog is effectively like livestock. It is property, and it is being used for a specific purpose. But if you're doing it for pleasure (and let's be honest, you would do it because *you* enjoy it, not just because the dog does) then you're a pervert and abusing the animal for your own pleasure. That's just the belief and perception that it's "unnatural" or "sinful." Of course it doesn't make sense from our perspectives. The act is the same, and if you're doing it for economic reasons, you may not care at all whether the animal enjoys it. You don't care about consent, you care about the money you're making from breeding, or for getting the genetic traits you want. In some ways, that's even more exploitative than pleasuring an animal for the sake of (mutual) pleasure.
