Facebook works hand in hand with the NSA I posted a copied pic of the new bill that came out and it shut me down for a month saying it was false information...I am able to get back on and I went to delete my account and the settings page to do such things won't load period not on data or wifi so as far as deleting I can't even do that.
 
Anyone that has anything to say about the government is shut down locked up and watched for as long as they see fit. Facebook is the biggest number one face recognition provider on the planet.
 
One more thing to consider is that Facebook became the first social media sight to completely ban freedom of speech. They listen to your conversation on or offline your bank history your favorite food everything you have dear to you Facebook knows about. You ever notice how you can be sitting in a room think of something and never say anything only next time your online it magically shows up as an add...IV have tried and tried to warn everyone on Facebook about all this and I'm betting it's why I'm no longer allowed to delete my account.

I don't think I've used any real info to join anything online since.... geez, since I used a Commodore64 with Automodem to go on BBS chatboards.

Any chance when you go to load the settings page to go to the delete account option that it doesn't load or let you into settings period?
 
I just use Facebook to keep in touch with what most of my family is doing without needing to call them. And for posting tons of pictures and videos of my dogs.
 
Facebook, along with Twitter, support fascist societies where the corporations get to buy into the government to control the people. No thanks. Facebook literally spent over $350 million towards influencing this election (that's not uncommon for companies to contribute to elections, but damn) and it shows that this current administration wants big tech to run wild on people's lives. I mean look at the AOC thing going on, she's literally calling for social media censorship for those who point out her lies, and Facebook/Twitter are following through.

Too many people let social media dictate their lives at this point, I mean it's difficult to even play phone games without it being integrated with one of the companies at this point. It's really sad how far it all reaches today and how many just willing let it happen. So many say well I don't care if companies can see what I say or do, I don't do anything illegal. All it takes is one word, one sentence...look at history. Bank of America literally gave user data to the FBI during the capital events from everyone spending in DC area without any warrants or user knowledge, that's so fucked up if you think about it from a society standpoint regardless of how you feel about what happened. That includes those people who weren't involved in any of it. Remember when the Xbox Kinect was broadcasting to the net and Microsoft employees were listening/watching people? Yea....

These fuckers are election meddling internationally. I dont know the exact number of countries theyre in but its a lot. I just learned even fuckin Thailand is going through the same culture war as America and the west is because of the actions of these tech companies. Many are now moving to ban them from operating in their country. Basically ever since they unpersoned POTUS. They effectively monopolized cyberspace and now wield control over the vast majority of information with rigged search algorithms that shove all the shit they want you to see at the top while suppressing their ideological and political opposition. All the while claiming to be the champions of democracy and "free and fair elections". They always accuse others what they are the most guilty of. Alinskyite bullshit. Fuckin plutocratic technocratic commies. I pledge eternal resistance to them.

IME, it has been the total opposite..... intelligent do something about it, like create alternatives like MeWe.

We see what happens when people try to create alternatives. Like Parler or Gab. Google and Amazon shut you down at the server. Or run a massive media smear campaign that ruins you before you can get off the ground.

Facebook is good for groups for learning things of interest, I learned all of my mycology and foraging knowledge from there and much of my religious doctrines too. Otherwise its a load of crap, don't treat it like a diary, don't link it to anything else of yours, don't upload photos of yourself and certainly don't write anything non-PC because it gets passed on to the police. I also use an app to restrict my social media time, so I get to use social media for a few hours a day then it blocks it, it allows me to be SO MUCH more productive and do other things because I'm not sat on my phone constantly.

Parler was doomed to fail from the start because Rebekah Mercer who was funding it who will happily shut down any think she disagrees with. Gab is an entirely different story, it's basically self hosted at this point so it's in a better position to keep the thought police at bay. This whole circle is just dumb, people are dumb. "go make your own platform to talk on because companies should be able to regulate free speech!!!" So said thing happens, wait not like that shut it down!! Clown world...
