I think it is reasonable to think that even on a more red penis, the sensitive areas are in the same place because it is the same species.

Doesn't the muscular ring sit between the shaft and the knot? I though the knot doesn't go through the ring, but grows in the space between the ring and the vulva, since you got a few cm before you reach the ring, and you can also see the knot "expanding" the vulva when they tug away.
