Purely technically they don't have to be wrong, depending on the definition of "consent" they're using. There's written consent, informed consent, etc. Where they make a fatal logical mistake is in that whatever level of consent they operate on, it applies to literally everything we do with animals. You don't ask for a signed paper to pet a dog, to butcher a cow, or to jerk off a pig into a plastic container, so why should letting a pig mount your ass be special? Why does the last act have so much more weight than the rest? The answer we already know is, of course, money, but the normies have blinders on their eyes for anything fiscally suspect.
What we as a civilization do with animals (when we're trying to be nice) is something I'd best term "post-hoc consent", you gently present something to the animal and gauge its reaction, then if that reaction is positive you gradually increase the level of engagement up to whatever seems comfortable to both sides. So yeah, technically there was a breach of consent in the initial attempt, but that was just a "trial run" to establish a mutual understanding (if you're really smart, then you can also use an animal's body language to your a priori advantage, but for the sake of argument let's assume that this isn't a factor). It's kinda like contacting a human indigenous tribe, yeah you won't get informed consent from them to lease off their land either and thus an american citizen technically breaches consent with every waking second but shhh. The fact that we go the extra mile beyond this "post-hoc consent" to ensure that the animal enjoys himself to the best of our observational capacity, well let's remember that most people don't even believe animals to be capable of emotions, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary. Stir in a bit of cognitive dissonance that a sexual topic brings into a chronically repressed society, and voila, shit salad.
