Why do people leave zooville?

I have made quite a long break, I have registered shortly after the site has been set up and left after... a month? a couple months? I don't remember, there was just nothing interesting enough at the time. Reptile porn is banned here and even if it weren't, furries are a huge competition so I'm here for regular discussions and questionnaires.

Years ago, when I joined BeastForum, I left after only a few months. It was a different crowd with only one common ground. You join a social forum to meet like-minded people only to find that Zoos are a mixed bag. Then there is the whole trust issue. From 2000 - 2012 you never really knew who you were talking to. It wasn't until I joined Zooville that I opened up more. A lot of people leave because they are afraid of getting exposed, and the others leave because they were expecting far more porn.

Thats pretty sad tbh where everyone has to have paranoia to survive and others are looking for visual gratification.

Times have changed and the people on here seem to be more cordial. During the Bush and Obama administrations, you would always see people getting arrested for meeting others for bestiality hook up. The news outlets always stated that the police had set the sting operations using the personals on a bestiality website. Everyone in the Zoo community knew the cops were trolling Craigslist and Beastforum. It was a Salem Witch hunt.

Of course, anyone dumb enough to show up to a motel room with their dog at three in the morning to meet a woman deserves what they have got coming. Never agree to meet anyone for anything but dinner and coffee in a public place.

I think a lot of it is due to people being exploited when they actually open up and start sharing. There have been a lot of stories about people posting pics/vids and then being blackmailed by someone who found out their name ect...

Also find that it’s hard to connect with anyone because there is that trust issue there so the point of trying to meet people which is what a lot of people want, is just not possible.

I do believe there has to be a point where someone has to take that leap of faith (thats what i believe anyways) even though its hard to establish a bridge of trust its best to make sure the 2nd person has the best intentions then comes the leap.

My best guess is the obvious. A lot of people are here to fulfill urges and when it becomes more work than play to sum it up people cut thier losses and move on to the next method.

The most common causes (for me) were to regain my mental sanity or because some security breach happened.
I believe that most people leaved because rules have become stricter. I've seen even some old member of bf leave and I must admit that I'm still here only because it's the only place I know where I can find some stimulating topic, from time to time.

Some people are too delicate for the dumpster fire and other free-speech areas and ragequit when their butt gets flamed! ??

But in reality, there is a multitude of reasons to why people leave. Ragequitting from the dumpster fire section could be one reason. I've also seen people "Find God" and leave their sinful animal fucking ways behind them. Some people might get bored of the website and log in less and less frequently until one day they stop logging in. For some people the porn isn't new enough or good enough for them and they just leave. Some people sign up with hopes that they'll get to meet someone and boink their animal, then be disappointed when they find out that most people with animals see them as loved ones and not sex toys. For others their animal partners die and they become too depressed to continue browsing a website full of zoos that still have their animal partners who profess their love for said animal partner. Some people can't take the rude replies to their dumb questions, from a handful of users on here. Some people leave because life simply gets in the way. While some people are curious about zoophilia as a fetish, get their taste of it, and decide it's not for them.

There really isn't a one-answer-fits-all.

Ahhh i see. Thanks for the statement it helps alot.

Because it takes time to get to know people, and patience, for most of the younger gen coming in, is in very short supply. Because genuine, female-type humans get toaded out by creeps, or driven out by the testosterone-drunk alpha wanna-bes who seem to assume eveyones is like them. Because toxicity isnt just for breakfast anymore.
I was a member of BF for 16 years. I NEVER had a problem finding friends or meeting people. I met ten that I developed relationships with. Two are dead, now; one of those is very much mourned. Of the eight remaining, I will not say more, except that they are all still friends, and still in touch on a daily or monthly basis. If people fail to connect, the trouble is most likely their own, but its easier to place the fault externally. So they leave for "greener pastures" that are just as sere.

Dang what happened to the 2? Were they accidents or age related or illness? That must be distressing

i'd say most common "quits" are from kinksters due to lack of new content... if you're here just for the porn i don't really care if you leave tbh. i can also imagine many giving up on logging in more after getting negative replies to their "can i fuck your dog" first posts.

i'm kinda curious what the male to female ration of quits is considering how the inbox of most females seem to look like once they "out" themselves as such.

I actually felt sorry for some of the amateur pictures that got posted on Beastforum. How many of the women in the pictures were married or dating some guy who was into bestiality so they tried it to satisfy their partner. Their partner records it to beat off to. Then one day they break up and the piece of shit posted it Beastforum. I think they call that revenge porn and it is now illegal to do to someone; I think it falls into the category of extortion. Still, imagine being the woman who goes to work and some random coworker pulls out his smartphone and shows her video back to her. That has to be a humiliating experience. I could never do that to a woman.

Definitely agree it takes a special case of scummyness to do such a thing.

Agreed. That's why I've ALWAYS advised people, especially ladies, not to post pictures. Not to take pics or allow them to be taken. Once you lose control of them, and you will, the game is changed forever.

My Strawberry Queen had a heart attack. It was worse than it should have been, but it was masked by another med problem. The other was also a heart issue. Both were sudden. And distressing doesn't cover the half of it.
