Why am I unable to react to messages?

I can't react to other people comments or send private messages. I have made a couple of post and comments and have been on the site for a while. Do I need to do something extra?

I think you need at least 10 messages.

You have to reach 10 posts in order to use the PM system or react to posts.

Give the system a bit to catch up, if you can't react to my post try logging off and back in.

After my first 10 posts I couldn't react until next time I came here which was the next night. seems to just take a bit. or maybe relogging helps. but it will come.

Logging back in does wonders
