I rarely enter this forum. I don't post personal posts because the moderators remove them, when I ask why, they don't answer. This has discouraged me.

Not from this site but back on beastforum. Ive met alot on there and still remain close friends with a good 5 or so who all live in a 40min bubble around where i live, also my roomate being one of them. Fun inner circle of people i consider close friends that ive known going on 10 years now. Its always a good time to get together and bbq, or go hiking with all the dogs.

I have not, never came here with an intention of meeting people irl. However, I have found a handful of people I'd love to meet :)
 
I met with someone from a different site before, we were supposed to drag-race... Long story short, I nearly had to shoot the guy. So now there is only a few folks on here that I would even humor the idea of meeting with
 
Wanted to meet someone from here end of last march - just when corona and travel restrictions hit... lost contact after that. Now most people I want to meet are too far away and traveling even to those who are near is still not really practical due to the plague... Used to meet other zoos from a chat I was in years ago though and had many good times ^^
 
I have been luck enough to meet a few people from here in real life after chatting for a fair while.
A couple i met ended up being just the waste of time type people but lunch and a chat was still nice,
While another NOW friend has come and stayed at my home a few time, We chat few times a week and will visit with me and my dogs a few times a year.
it's given me the want to keep chatting to new people that may be interested in meeting after chatting for some time and getting to know each other enough to earn each others trust.
ive found meeting to be both scary and exciting - along with some great rewards and mate-ship.
