What's the point of sex???

Anything but the point of reproducing. Anything that is fun and satisfies you deep in side, makes you feel good and relaxed…abd soooo naughty ??
 
Hard to explain. Unfortunately don't have a partner right now, but I can still try to explain what I feel the purpose of sex will be.

Pure love. There is nothing more intimate and special than sex, and I think of it as an act of pure and true love. Just thinking about doing it with the girl I'm going to love so so much makes me feel warm and fuzzy. Not horns, but warm and fuzzy. Happy. To think that I'm doing what is literslly referred to as making love to the girl that I love so so incredibly much, beyond the bounds of this universe. Obviously, sex has no point reproductively, which I'm actually very glad about. It means I can just enjoy my love time with my girl as we both are mutually pleasured. Which, I should note, of she allows me but doesn't actually enjoy having sex, I won't because I just don't see how it could be pleasurable if she isn't also enjoying it.

So to answer in a brief manner, love. Love is the purpose of sex. This is what it means to me as an exclusive zoo.

Hmm. Not quite. Reproduction clearly isn't part of it here, considering reproducing across species is impossible. Pleasure, sure. That is seen all over the place here, with the beastialists and fetishists and those with just a kink. But for someone like me who is zoo exclusive, sex has a different meaning. It is an act of love towards your partner. Love so strong you bring your bodies together, not because you have the desire to reproduce but because you love one another.

It is beyond what the possessor of the horny brain thinks ! The receptors in the nervous system collect information about the environment and present you with some options that you think you are making, but the decision is made in advance, depending on the immune system of the person you think you want to reproduce with, SEXUAL ATTRACTION IS GIVEN BY THE COMBINATION BETWEEN THE GENES THE RESPONSIBLE FOR REPRODUCTION AND IF THEIR POSITIONS ARE DEVIATED THERE ARE ALSO ATTRACTS TO OTHER SPECIES OR TO PEOPLE OF THE SAME SEX. So the decisions do not belong to you even in the sexual field! Free will does not even exist in sex, but we can enjoy it because it comes with dopamine serotonin and look like this modern science has remained at a standstill, we live in a universal simulation or everything is perfectly directed but involuntarily by the space displaced by our existence at the subatomic level, as gravity appears around bodies with large mass!For me is a burden, because testosterone whoslows down your lucidity and makes you react badly like big apes

The point of sex is to reproduce by mixing genetic material, at least that's its objective purpose, however as life and animals became more complex it started fulfilling other roles as well like social interaction and comforting, just like the mouth is for eating it serves many other purposes now in many species, in the case of humans even communication. And to me the point of sex (why I have sex) is to have a good moment, to feel pleasure and bond closer with the beings I feel attracted to, even if its impossible to reproduce with them, I like how it feels, nature made it so animals experience powerful sensations to desire sex and to have coitus, because it is important to have a very powerful motivation to engage in it, after all sexual reproduction has a tremendously powerful selective pressure, just sometimes something goes wrong and we feel attracted to other subjects but that does not mean I cannot enjoy as much if not more those powerful motivators.

Uhm dint read thread but is this a real question. Like do you not believe in evolution or how nature works and multiplies. How would a being keep surviving if there wasint biological need to pass seed on. From humans to animals to plants to insect it all works the same for a reason evolved. No offence but uh what
 
I would argue biology imprints that to ensure survival. You survive because it feels good. It's uhm about survival as species in the end. Feels good is how it's ensured. Pack animals who take care of each other vastly outdo the rest

To add we would be exctinte if nature did not find a way to make you want to have sex. Perplexed if it's a troll or a real question
 
You seriously have to ask? Sex is a lot of things. It has deeply personal meaning to all of us, whether we are celibate, horny sluts, straight, lesbian or whatever there is in between!

Sex for me is fun. It is about endorphins, love, lust, coming, testing boundaries and pushing them, showing yourself in an exhibitionist way, enjoying another. It's not the be-all and end-all, but, for me it is hugely important. I think about fucking, in all the forms I love and enjoy, each and every day!

Ah. So: "What is the point of sex outside of reproduction?"

If that's what you mean, then I'd say the point is to be happy and make others happy.
 
I think there’s more than one answer here but I think it comes down to pleasure- physical, emotional, spiritual. We have sex with those we care about because we want to give and receive pleasure from them. I mean, at least I do. Idk.

The biological point? Reproduction.
The social point? Bonding.
The physical point? Pleasure.
Of course there are way more angles, if you want to view this from a cultural, religious, societal, medical or other perspective, plus the meaning shifts from person to person. Some need a fixed partner in a monogamous relationship or a friendship with benefits, some need different partners in form of open relationships or one night stands, others don't need a partner at all or prefer very specific partners. What it means is different from person to person.
What it means to me? Not much to be honest. I had a friendship with benefits a while back. I was happy before, during and after said arrangement. For me sex is a nice bonus on top of a good relationship with another person, not the be-all end-all thing that my life revolves around. A "nice to have" rather than a "must have".
