What's the most unique partner you've had?

Mine is pretty boring, but I'd say my current (without getting into specifics) 125+ pound newfoundland doggy girl. Although I was close to a couple of cats when I was much younger.

short story is that I grew up literally in the middle of a national forest. I spent most my growing up life in the woods exploring, I just loved being out in the natural world. I would often spend several days camping out at times, and during one of my camping weekends I noticed that a wolf was watching me, but keeping it's distance. over the next several weeks I saw her more and more and as we got more comfortable around each other was able to get close and pet her, then over time we got more comfortable, and when she went into her next heat she choose me to be her mate. We then mated for several more years often out of heat until one day she disapeared never to be seen again. I often thought to take her home and keep her but I just couldn't take her from her natural element.

I'm jealous... Damn... was the experience well... Different from a K9?

(Now relating to the subject) my girl in my profile was the most unique I knew. Dominant and receptive as well as intelligent. So far nobody else ever matched our chemistry.
